Rapid prototyping and Minimum Viable Products are key when introducing a cool new tech product. It allows you to continuously gather info on customer interaction and product features when analysing its data.

Of course, it shouldn’t be some clunky app which drives away potential future customers, but it doesn’t have to be perfect either.

The video below shows exactly how Google uses this approach, it starts with an almost gimmick like tool, now transitions to the first commercial applications, but the next step will surely blow us away.

It does remind me of the statement Andrew Keen made during his keynote at The Next Web conference last week when he stated that disruption has only just begun…
